Cinnamon Cap mushroom's smell is a hint of the woods where in nature they grow. These cultivated mushrooms retain their crispness and it's this textural variation, their nutty mild flavour, and their striking colouration that sets them apart.
They grow colonially, and are small and cute as a button. This offers lots of opportunities for using them in varying recipes. They are a particularly excellent addition to risottos, with meat or tofu dishes, and in stews, fried dishes, and in pastries.
All packaging is compostable or recyclable. Fresh mushrooms are sold locally. Only dried products are shipped outside of Newfoundland and Labrador.
